NAHU Announces New Technology Solutions for Members

In a recent email bulletin, the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) announced a series of technology solutions (via vendor partnerships) they developed to assist members in their work as agents and brokers. The technology solutions are available to members at significantly reduced cost or in some cases, at no cost. NAHU intends to continue to upgrade their arrangements with new and improved items.

The partnerships are:

  • Citrix ShareFile – Online platform to easily and securely share policies, census data, and protected health information (PHI). HIPAA compliant. Integrates with Microsoft Outlook so you can send files directly fromĀ  your email.
  • benefitsCONNECT – A benefits administration and online enrollment software company. NAHU members receive special pricing. 50% off installation and discounted monthly subscription fees.
  • ACA Dashboard from SyncStream – A comprehensive software that allows you to provide clients with ongoing compliance checklists, tools, and guides to help decide tracking periods and monthly required reporting.
  • ACA Decision Support Tool from SyncStream – Software to provide your clients with customized healthcare reform impact analysis and possible strategies and scenarios. Especially tailored with input from NAHU.
  • ThinkHR – Provides brokers and clients with immediate access to expert HR advisors to help minimize exposure and risk associated with legal and regulatory matters.
  • Zywave – A web service solution for brokers to enhance client services and provide value-adds. NAHU members get a 10% credit for their Plan Doc Builder, Broker Briefcase Benefits, MyWave Elements, MyWave Connect, HRconnection, Brokerage Builder, Decision Master Warehouse, HR Hotline, and PlanAdvisor.
